The HIKERS® Trick Hook

This ingenious design locks around your belt loop with a simple tilt on and off, and the hook's fine-tuned size post secures the rear strap in your selected size position. Keep in mind, HIKERS® are designed to be under slight tension at all times, keeping your rear strap secure until you reach back and ease the tension off the hook.

Can be an issue for TSA

I bought this thinking the added weight would "position" the hook better. That part worked great. I did some air travel in the last few weeks and forgot about it as I was going through the detector. It caused another pat down. You could take it off in advance or change to the plastic when traveling.

I love it

Wish it would easily replace the old style clasp of the hikers that is all held together with a nylon webbing rather than pseudo-leather with a hole like the upstyle

Senior citizen is favorably impressed

I received my new Fool’s Gold hook last week. I no longer have to worry about the plastic becoming brittle and breaking, allowing my pants to descend to the sidewalk. The size/link/holes appear to be the same as the plastic, but I sense they are somewhat tighter (shorter). I was about to order the shorter version, but this one is perfect. Right on!
