Our Rear Wide Loop Hook features a 1"-wide hook arm that fits the wider belt loops you might find on Wranglers, Dickies, and Kühl pants and shorts. This TSA-friendly hook is compatible with HIKERS® button fly suspenders and the rear strap of Upfitter® belt loop suspenders, sold separately.

The Rear Trick Hook

This ingenious design locks around your belt loop with a simple tilt on and off, and the hook's fine-tuned size post secures the rear strap in your selected size position. Keep in mind, HIKERS® Co. Suspenders are designed to be under slight tension at all times, keeping your rear strap secure until you reach back and ease the tension off the rear hook.

Do I need to buy extra hooks?

Not at all! Every pair of HIKERS® Co. Suspenders comes hooked up and ready to wear.

What makes HIKERS® Co. hooks unique?

Our rear hooks are interchangeable and adjustable. They lock onto your belt loop with our patented hook arm, and won't pop off unintentionally. Simply tilt on and off to release it from your belt loop.

Our front hooks are can be flipped for right- or left-handed preference and ultimate comfort

How do I rethread the hook?

  1. With the HIKERS® Co. logo facing you, thread the strap into the first slot from the top, under the first bar, and back up through the second slot.
  2. Pull it through and thread it back down into the final slot, seating the strap's size hole onto the center post. Give the strap a good tug.
  3. If you're using a second or third size hole, you can then thread the remainder of the strap up the back of the hook, under the top bar.

Sometimes you gotta go WIDE

One pair of my jeans, Duluth double flex, has really wide belt loops. I knew the standard hook on the Hikers probably wouldn't be wide enough, so I ordered the rear wide loop hook, along with my button fly suspenders. It works really well.

This is a simple fix to ensure your HIKERS will work on ALL your pants. The wide loop hooks are working on the extra wide loops I have on some pants, AND it also still works on the regular loops. Switch to the wide loops and just leave them switched!
